Airline Transport Pilot License

This course is designed for cadets pursuing a pilot career in the airline industry. Upon successful completion of obtaining the Fixed Wing Commercial Pilot License (CPL) or Frozen Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL (F)), cadets will be able to apply for pilot positions with airline companies of their choice.

Cadets will undergo careful career mentorship and preparation with our flight instructors during flight training. Upon completion, interviews with recruitment teams for airline companies will be arranged for our students to transition into their careers.

Training Program Outline:

Ground School (850 Hours)

  • Theoretical Knowledge Training – Phase 1 (480 Hours)
  • Theoretical Knowledge Training – Phase 2 (370 Hours)

Flying Training (200 Hours)

  • Single Engine Type Tech (10 Hours)
  • Multi-Engine Type Tech (10 Hours)
  • Flying Training (Single Engine) – Phase 1: PPL Level (45 Hours)
  • Flying Training (Single Engine) – Phase 2: CPL Level (110 Hours)
  • Flying Training (Multi Engine) – Phase 3: CPL/IR Level (45 Hours)

Course Requirements

  • Minimum age of 17

  • Fluent in the English Language

  • Completed Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with five credits (including English, Mathematics, and Science) or “O” level equivalent for prospective candidates outside Malaysia

  • Candidates shall hold a valid Malaysian Class 1 Aircrew Medical Certificate. (Note: A medical certificate acceptable by CAAM issued by a DAME).

  • Letter of Approval from the CAAM (obtained by submitting a communication of interest to the CAAM along with the necessary medical documentation and academic qualification).
