International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) objectives, human factors, G-awareness, upset aerodynamics, aircraft limitations, threat and error management and recovery strategy.
Stall prevention, basic unusual-attitude recovery, smooth control inputs and energy awareness.
High-performance upset recovery, spatial orientation and precise aircraft control under instructor supervision.
Participants complete LLFA’s approved Advanced Upset Prevention and Recovery Training course and practical exercises, subject to satisfactory performance and the applicable regulatory requirements.
The published course structure includes both Cessna 172 and GameBird GB1 flight phases. Flights remain subject to weather, aircraft serviceability and instructor authorisation.
