Instructor ground school
UPRT instructional methodology, TEM, error management, scenario design, startle coaching and instructor decision-making.
Baseline assessment
Evaluation of handling precision, situational awareness and readiness for the instructor-development sequence.
Cessna demonstration phase
Teaching pace, control coordination, communication and corrective feedback in a stable platform.
GameBird instructor phase
Full-envelope recovery demonstrations, spin and spiral-dive instruction and energy-management coaching.
Summative evaluation
The candidate briefs, demonstrates, recovers and debriefs a complete instructional sequence under observation.

Is a Flight Instructor Rating required?
Yes. LLFA’s published prerequisites require a valid Flight Instructor Rating for Train-the-Trainer applicants.
How is the candidate assessed?
Assessment includes baseline handling, dual demonstration development and a summative sequence covering briefing, demonstration, recovery and debrief.
Does LLFA provide student accommodation?
Yes. Student accommodation is available as part of LLFA’s brand-new campus experience. Room type, location, occupancy, availability and current terms should be confirmed with Admissions for your intake.
Where is the training conducted?
LLFA operates from Sultan Azlan Shah Airport in Ipoh, Perak. Admissions will confirm the reporting instructions for your programme and intake.
Are the published duration and hours guaranteed?
No. Published durations and hours describe the current programme structure or an indicative pathway. Progress, examinations, weather, aircraft serviceability, authority requirements and scheduling can affect completion time.
How do I confirm my eligibility?
Contact Admissions with your age, academic qualifications, nationality, medical status and any existing licence or logbook details. LLFA will advise which documents are needed for a formal review.
