Eligibility essentials

Start with the requirements that affect every application.

Programme-specific requirements vary, especially for licence holders and conversion applicants. Admissions will confirm the current requirements against your chosen pathway.

  1. 01Age

    Professional pathways generally require applicants to be at least 18 when beginning the applicable flying phase.

  2. 02Academic background

    Provide complete academic results so Admissions can assess English, Mathematics and science-subject requirements.

  3. 03Aviation medical

    The class of CAAM medical certificate depends on the licence objective. Complete the correct assessment before relying on an enrolment plan.

  4. 04English proficiency

    Pilot training requires clear spoken and written English for instruction, radio work, examinations and operational documents.

  5. 05Identity and status

    Malaysian and international applicants must provide the applicable identity, immigration and authority documentation.

  6. 06Previous experience

    Licence holders and conversion applicants should prepare verified licences, logbooks, ratings, recency and training records.
