Train to the highest level of helicopter certification. The CPL(H) + IR + Frozen ATPL(H) program develops command-level proficiency in turbine operations, multi-engine control, and instrument flight preparing pilots for offshore, corporate, and airline pathway careers. Conducted on Robinson 44 and AS355 Twin Squirrel, the course delivers real turbine experience and full compliance with CAAM’s professional pilot standards.

Phase 1: Ground School (850 Hours)
Full Civil Aviation Authority Malaysia (CAAM) -approved theoretical instruction with ATPL-level integration.

Phase 2: Flying Phase (195 Hours)
Master every stage of helicopter flight from basic control to full instrument. Train across all helicopter flight disciplines from foundational handling to advanced instrument command. All flight training is conducted on actual turbine aircraft, reflecting real operational conditions.
1. (0-40 hrs) - Basic Handling
Develop control precision and coordination in hovering, take-offs, landings, and airfield circuits under various environmental conditions.

2. (45–100 hrs) – Navigation & Cross-Country
Enhance navigation and communication proficiency through visual and radio navigation. Execute cross-country flights, diversions, and decision-making under variable weather.

3. (100–175 hrs) – Instrument Flight
Train in full instrument procedures using radio aids, flight instruments, and limited-panel recovery. Practice IFR navigation, holding patterns, and approach procedures under real turbine conditions.

4. (175–195 hrs) – Advanced & Final Check
Refine IFR command skills with asymmetric flight, emergency procedures, and multi-crew coordination. Complete with a final skill test under CAAM standards..

Providing Everything You Need

Create CAAM eCLIPSE Account
​Register at https://eclipse.caam.gov.my and complete the Student Pilot Application Form. Upload your ID, SPM/O-Level results, and photo.

Wait for CAAM Approval
CAAM will review your submission and issue a digital e-Approval. LLFA can assist if you need help with the portal.

Receive LLFA Letter of Offer
Once approved, LLFA issues your official Letter of Offer (LoO) and payment structure. A RM 20,000 booking fee secures your seat.

Complete Class 1 Medical
Book a CAAM-approved DAME medical. The result will sync directly into your eCLIPSE profile.

Visa (International Students)
LLFA provides the JTKSM support letter and assists in your Professional Visit Pass (PVP) application.
06
Orientation & Commencement
After all documents are cleared and uploaded, you’ll receive your timetable, iPad courseware, and eCLIPSE login access for training and exams.
Pre-requisites
The Professional Pilot Licence Program (CPL/IR + ATPL Frozen) is an intensive training program. Before you enroll, you must:
